Chat: Student-Centered Tech. Tools

From Guest Blogger Liana Heitin:

All you ed-tech followers will want to check out our live chat tomorrow, Jan. 26th, about effectively integrating student-centered technology into classroom instruction.

Darren Kuropatwa, known to some as the "blogfather of math," will describe how 21st-century tech. tools can shift the responsibility for learning from the teacher onto the learners. He'll answer questions about using "scribe blogs," wikis, and social media to empower students and enhance day-to-day classroom practices.

"From Engagement to Empowerment: How 21st Century Tools Put Students in Charge of Their Learning" will run from 2pm to 3pm Eastern. Bring your questions! Should be an enlightening hour.
