Chance the Rapper is partnering with the ride-sharing service Lyft to support arts education in Chicago’s public schools.

Riders who use Lyft will now be able to round up their fares to the nearest dollar, and donate the balance to the New Chance: Arts & Literature Fund.

Chance the Rapper, who grew up on the city’s South Side, created the fund in March to support arts education in city’s public schools. Last month, the Grammy winning artist announced that he was creating an awards show for educators.

Chance the Rapper has been vocal about the district’s financial constraints and met with Gov. Rauner earlier this year amid the state’s budget crisis. Following that meeting, he pledged to donate $1 million to the city’s public schools.

To make donations to the New Chance: Arts & Literature Fund, riders will have to use the ride-sharing service’s “Round Up & Donate” feature. Other organizations in the program include the American Cancer Society, Habitat for Humanity, and Girls Who Code.
