Kelly Gallagher Online Discussion Is Underway

Kelly Gallagher is currently hosting the online Education Week Teacher Book Club conversation, which is based on his book Write Like This.

There is a day-and-a-half left in the discussion, which runs through Feb. 23, and I encourage you to jump in and participate.

Early discussion is covering the applicability of his concepts to elementary and middle school classes, how to combat laziness in students, and how to make classroom time for writing.

If you'd like to read more about the book, check our my earlier BookMarks post and the Book Backgrounder that Teacher put together.

As Gallagher wrote in his book club introduction: "We all know that writing is easy to assign, but very difficult to teach." I hope that you join in and add your voice, and your experiences, to the conversation.
