We've heard from one source that Arne Duncan, the CEO of Chicago's public schools, will be announced on Tuesday as President-elect Barack Obama's pick for secretary of education.

UPDATE: The New York Times has confirmed this as well.

I think when you grind down to the nuts and bolts of todays economic troubles you come to one simple conclusion, millions of Americans signed contractual agreements they had no idea if they could afford. They figured if the banks would approve the loans than evrything was going to be just fine. Well reality hit hard people dont plan to fail they fail to plan. Financial planning needs to be a part of our K-12 education system.
