Getting to Know Politics K-12 Readers

Alyson and I are back from vacation and eager to get back to blogging. But first, we were wondering: just who is reading this blog? We can track our statistics, and we always appreciate your comments and emails (keep 'em coming), but we are curious as to what types of people love education policy and politics so much that they read Politics K-12. So take a second, and click one of the options below:

Which of the following best describes your occupation or field?
Federal government
State/local government
Policy think tank
Education association/nonprofit
Education-related for-profit company
Other K-12 school district employee
Higher education
Please Specify:
Promise Rings

I had to check "other."

There's a missing category, one yet to be articulated.

I want to check the box for the web-based groups/people/systems that will support us all as we move from K-12 education to new learning systems more suited to a society where knowledge is literally in the air.

Thanks for the opportunity to revisit who we aren't and who we are.

I am one of your avid readers and recommend your blog frequently to others. I like your survey technology. where did you get it?

Thanks, Jim! We used the poll- maker found here (it's compatible with Movable Type, our blogging software):
