The Great College-For-All 'Snob' Debate: GOP Governors Weigh In
Former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum, who is duking it out with Mitt Romney to win a crucial Michigan primary today, thinks President Obama is a "snob" for encouraging college for all students. This, too, from a guy who holds more advanced degrees than the president does.
Obama, who does indeed want more kids to go to and graduate from college, also is pushing for post-secondary training, in general. And that could mean technical schools or certificate programs. Obama maintains he's not a "snob" for saying that.
Now, Republican governors seem to side with Obama on this one.
