The Every Student Succeeds Act is set to hit school districts this school year. But there is still a lot of confusion about the law that replaced the much-maligned No Child Left Behind Act.

What’s kosher and not under ESSA? What’s in state plans? How does the law seek to protect special populations of students? How does it restrict the Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos’ authority? What programs does it include? Which ones did it get rid of? How is DeVos implementing the law?

You’ve got questions. We’ve got answers—or at least we know where to find them.

What do you want to know about ESSA? You can email your questions to aklein@epe.org or aujifusa@epe.org. Or you can tweet at us @PoliticsK12.

We’ll be posting your questions, and our answers, on a regular basis over the next few weeks. So stay tuned.
