The National Association of Charter School Authorizers’ annual leadership conference is taking place this week just outside Denver.

The conference focuses not so much on charter schools, but on the groups—including nonprofits, universities, and school districts—with the power to approve new schools and to shut down failing ones.

On tap at the NACSA leadership conference are several sessions highlighting some of the big issues facing the charter sector, such as how authorizers can make sure charter schools have fair enrollment policies and how to attract and evaluate high-quality charter management organizations.

I’m here in Colorado through Thursday covering the conference on the Charters & Choice blog and on Twitter @ChartersNChoice.
