The National Science Foundation has developed a new website that aims to identify the outcomes of education and other research projects funded by the agency that will have the greatest impact on practitioners, my colleague Sarah D. Sparks reports over at the Inside School Research blog.

She notes that the Science, Engineering and Education (SEE) Innovation site, up but still in development, provides brief explanations of the most “transformative” research results in ongoing NSF-funded projects, searchable by topic area.

One example Sarah mentions is a program by Big Sky Science Partnership in Montana to help K-8 science teachers connect content instruction to Native American students’ culture.

The new development comes as the NSF has some new leadership, after Subra Suresh was recently confirmed by the Senate to direct the federal agency. For more on that, check out this blog post from the other day.
