Balloon Animals for Christmas
My Uncle-in-Law bought me a book about balloon animals for Christmas. A menagerie ensued.
Balloon animal artists are called "twisters." I'm ready to apply for my guild card.
The apprentice twister begins with the dog.
Next is the mouse, which is just an alteration of proportions.
Next up was an elephant, which took a couple of tries to get the proportions right.
Next up is the dinosaur.Notice that the body has the first three-way balloon bubble twist.
Having learned the three-way twist, I then applied it to the "Two Lovebirds Kissing inside a Heart."
And then, my current finale, the "Teddy Bear with a Tulip."
Learning, in all it's myriad forms, remains a wonderful experience for me. And I continue to marvel at all of the media that let us share the products of our learning with each other. For all the educators who read these missives throughout the year, I hope that your 2015 is filled with learning, sharing, and joy.
