An Education Week Spotlight on English-Language Learners

Information on English-language learners is always popular with Education Week readers, so if you're looking for one resource-rich place to find content on ELLs, look no further than this newly curated collection of stories and blog posts from edweek.org.

The collection is called "Spotlight on English-Language Learners in the Classroom," and is downloadable in PDF form for free.

It features stories on the steady rise in dual language programs, new training on working with ELLs for core-content teachers, and "shadowing" ELLs as a key part of teacher professional development. You'll also find previous edweek.org story collections on English-language learners that focus on classroom practices, as well as assessment. You can download those for $4.95.
