Ravitch, Ed. Dept. Spokesman Spar Over Entrepreneurship

In addition to being a great source for real-time news and information, Twitter is also a great source for entertaining arguments. The education world is no different, though the Twitter fights in this realm tend to be of more substance than, say, whether watching "The Avengers" in 3-D is totally worth it or not.

On Saturday, education pundit Diane Ravitch and Justin Hamilton, a spokesman for the U.S. Department of Education, got into an impromptu debate over the role of entrepreneurs in education. As Internet debates are wont to do, it got a little nasty. Using the social media aggregation tool Storify, I pulled together a recap.
