The Re-Education of New Orleans, an EdWeek multimedia package released in August 2015, has been honored with a Sigma Delta Chi Award from the Society of Professional Journalists.

This online-only package combines articles with audio, video, and photographs to provide a multifaceted look at New Orleans’ schools 10 years after Hurricane Katrina. Are things better now? EdWeek reporters and videographers asked students, teachers, and parents to share their perspectives.
