The Quest for Highly Qualified Teachers
The November issue of the American School Board Journal takes an in-depth look at the teacher quality provisions of the federal No Child Left Behind Act and how states are progressing towards the goal of having a highly qualified teacher in every classroom. The conclusion is that a lot more progress is needed.
