Dealing With Educon Withdrawal

I was unable to attend Educon this past weekend in Philadelphia. The annual conference at Science Leadership Academy (SLA) is at the top of my list as far as professional learning opportunities. If you haven’t had a chance to attend, then mark down the last weekend in January next year and check it out for yourself. SLA Principal Chris Lehmann opens his classrooms on Friday for visitors to have a chance to see his staff and students in action. On Saturday and Sunday a few hundred passionate educators lead conversations on pressing topics that impact all of our schools and classrooms.

While it is no comparison to being at the conference in person, I followed the #Educon hashtag on Twitter over the weekend and I’ve shared my five biggest takeaways in Storify.
