Education Week on Forest Grove School District v. T.A.

When will school districts be held accountable for the education of gifted students? When a school is unable to provide for the educational needs of gifted students it is up to the parents to pay for private school tuition.

Well using your logic, why shouldn't the SD have to pay for your TAG kid's college education as well? if they are really smart, should they pay for premed & med school as well?

C'mon, there is a minimum requirement to provide a basic education being discussed here..
