Another Governor's Race Goes Republican: Alabama

Republican Robert Bentley has defeated Democrat Ron Sparks in the Alabama governor's race, the AP tells us. Sparks had favored creating a lottery to generate money for education, but Bentley said voters should get a chance to decide on it.

In the end, Alabama voters didn't seem to mind.
