You may have picked up on the fact that I have no life. I spend my summers thinking about teaching. But, to be fair, I spend my school year thinking about summer.

I am spending a lot of time this summer thinking about cool stuff and how to use it to teach. For example, using a site called ‘Jib, Jab’ I made a completely humiliating video of a friend and me dancing. By adding a picture of our faces, we are digitally transformed into the cheesiest of disco stars. Good, clean fun.

As I’ve mentioned in past posts, I feel like sometimes we as educators discredit the importance of fun in the classroom. I will not pretend that my Jib, Jab video is “instructionally relevant” or “cognitively sound”. It’s not; it’s freakin’ hilarious.

And here’s another - check out xtranormal.com, I actually think this one’s got some potential,though I’m not sure about the message...
