We grown ups need a wake up call as to what is expected of our kids todayin school.
So we can understand what stress they
have from school.

KIds need time to be kids, We older
adults got to have summer vacation time
off from school were we got to play
all day and just relax . kids to day
are told to read over summer vacation everyday . Do we read
evertyday to improve ourselves.
Lets see if we could do what is expected of our children to day.

We (omit “We”) grown ups (grown-ups) need a wake up (wake-up) call as to what is expected (passive voice) of our kids todayin (today in) school. (...as to student expectations and the stressors present in today's schools.)
So we can understand what stress they
have from school.

adults (omit "older adults")got(omit colloquialism)to have (had) summer vacation time
off from school were (omit) we got(omit colloquialism)to play
all day and just relax. (or...As children, we spent summer vacations playing all day and relaxing.) kids (Kids) to day (today)
are told (passive voice) to read over summer vacation everyday (misplaced modifier).Do we read
evertyday (everyday) to improve ourselves. (?)
Lets (Let’s) see if we could do what is expected (passive voice) of our children to day (today).

Ms. Fischer, thanks for unintentionally proving to America why schools must have higher expectations for the next generation.
