Don't Crank It

A cautionary tale: Like many other teachers, literacy teacher Cindi Rigsbee figured that learning the popular "Soulja Boy" dance was a fun way of connecting with her students. Then she found out what the lyrics mean.

I am definitely going to look up the meaning of the dance. It is good to have someone who can tip you off about the songs and dances the kids like. At least with computers, teachers can investigate things before getting involved. Teachers have to be so careful.

I had a similar experience with one of our tradional Sri Lanka dances sometime back. I am extra careful now.
