A Rough Start

J. of Mildly Melancholy started a new job this year and, from the sounds of it, is having some some major stress and confidence issues.

Many inexperienced teachers gravitate to each other and commiserate [a/k/a the blind leading the blind]. If a mentor has not been assigned, the teacher should seek the advice of a "seasoned" colleague. The novice should not be afraid to admit he/she needs help. Listen, watch, and learn from others.
