Dance Class

As an educator, Nancy Flanagan is heartened by the much-e-mailed and -posted YouTube video of an ever- expanding collection of people dancing to "Do, Re, Mi" in Central Station in Antwerp, Belgium:

Just watching it made me confident that we--the teaching profession--can make a convincing case that life is no good without imagination.

This video rocks-a friend sent it to me several months ago and everyone I passed to-young, old, and inbetween- in school and out of school-everyone just just loved it. So glad to see your entry here, Nancy! I sometimes I think I'm the only dance teacher in the world who is trying to do the web 2.0 thing!

So glad to finally run across another dance teacher online; thanks for posting this You Tube link. A few people sent it to me last year and somehow I forwarded it on without bookmarking it for myself. If it wasn't for you I might have forgotten all about it-and it's too much fun to forget.
