A Classroom Strategy: Brain Breaks Allow Students to Refocus (Video)

Tita Ugalde, a 2nd grade teacher in Los Angeles, explains how giving "brain breaks" lets her students shake out their extra energy and refuel in between lessons. These brain breaks include jumping, yoga poses, and drinking plenty of water to keep students hydrated and attentive for the rest of the day.
