A Classroom Strategy for Math: Have Students 'Notice and Wonder' (Video)

Kristin Gray, a 2nd grade teacher at Richard A. Shields Elementary School in Lewes, Del., incorporates a "notice and wonder" routine into her math lessons. This exercise encourages students to make sense of a math problem by listing what they both notice and wonder about the given information.
