The Power of Youth Voices: Writing Commentaries in Class (Video)

Youth Radio program leader and educator Teresa Chin introduces commentaries as a method of storytelling to high school students in Oakland, Calif. Students use a graphic organizer to brainstorm topics they know and care about, and map out what they wish other people knew about those topics.
