NEW BLOG STARTS IN JUNE
Dear Readers,
As the school year winds down, so will "On the Reservation." (Although there are several more entries to come!) But I will be starting another blog for "Teacher Magazine" beginning in June. Please stay tuned and check back often for the new link.

I am a high school teacher in the Middle School Attached To Hunan University in China.
We are looking for a sister school in American for more cultural and educational exchange to widen our horizon on an internatioal base. Can you help to get me in touch with your school?
Thanks a lot.

Hi Jessica,
I am sure you are quite busy, but I am interested in the idea of teaching on a reservation, and would love to email with you about your experience--if you have time, please drop me a line.
All best,
James Martin

Jessica, You are among the few fortunates who have actually experienced working with Native American children, and I commend you for your interest. And I'm glad you had first hands on experience with my people, Thank you.I am Navajo and I'm currently working on my BA to become an Elementary Teacher. I've worked as an EA (Educational Assistant) for several years, both on the Navajo (NM)and Pima(AZ) reservation. There, I began my interest in Education and have only worked on Native American reservations and I enjoy working with Native Youths.
Take Care, Wanda F.
