The New York Post reports that Ilene Feldman, an untenured Brooklyn teacher, flung herself down a stairwell to avoid her classroom observation. The incident, which occurred in December 2008 at the High School for Innovation in Advertising and Media, was—it just so happens—captured by a school surveillance camera.

According to the Post, Feldman refused to watch the footage after being confronted by investigators. She subsequently resigned from her $50,000-a-year teaching job and is no longer eligible for employment in the New York City schools.
