When Did You Know?

Was there a particular instance when you knew you wanted to teach, or an incident that made you realize that the teaching profession was for you? Now might be your chance to share your story with a larger audience. The Huffington Post has launched a new video series project called "The Moment I Knew," in which readers tell "the stories of life-changing moments they have experienced" in less than 60 seconds. According to the website, "Each section of HuffPost has chosen a different theme." The theme for the HuffPost Education section is "The Moment I Knew I Could Inspire," which is perfect for teachers who would like to contribute their stories that involve students, mentors, friends, training, learning, or any aspect related to education. To contribute a story, simply create a video using YouTube or Vimeo and email the URL to [email protected], or attach a video file to the email.
