I know we aren’t quite finished with 2010 yet, but I’d like to draw your attention to an event we have coming up in January here at edweek.org.

My colleague Michele Davis will host a Webinar with Greg Marks, the director of product development at Michigan Virtual University, and Debi Crabtree, the coordinator of the Hamilton County Virtual Schools in Chattanooga, Tenn. These two online learning experts will talk about what it takes to create high-quality online courses, as a follow-up to the release of our third e-learning report, being released on Jan. 12.

The Webinar is on Jan. 25, 2011 from 2-3 p.m. Eastern. Sign up for it here.

And if you’re looking for some reading to do over the holidays, check out a chat my fellow blogger Ian Quillen did a couple of months ago, Strategies for Online Elementary Education. Lots of great info and resources available there.
