Like many ed-tech folks this time of year, Education Week‘s ed-tech reporting team is hitting the road for the annual ISTE conference, a major gathering of educators, technology companies, researchers, and others being held Sunday through Wednesday in San Antonio.

You can read all of our coverage here on the Digital Education blog, where we’ll give you valuable information from many of the sessions, workshops, lectures, and exhibits featured at this year’s conference.

We’ll kick off our coverage on Sunday with this year’s opening keynote by Jane McGonigal, gaming expert and author of the book Reality is Broken: Why Games Make Us Better and How They Can Change the World.

We’ll find out about how technology is playing a role in common-core implementation, bring you the most up-to-date research released at the event, talk with industry leaders about what tech trends they think will make the biggest impact on schools this year, and much, much more.

Follow us on Twitter or join our LinkedIn group to stay connected and get the most up-to-date Education Week coverage of ISTE 2013.

Hope to see you there!
