Two Chicago Heavy Hitters Pair Up on Birth-to-College

A while back, Early Years asked readers for examples of birth-to-8 education efforts led by schools and school districts. Here’s another, emerging effort right here in my own backyard. The University of Chicago’s Urban Education Institute and the Ounce of Prevention Fund are partnering to build a birth-to-college pathway that will not only serve a group of children and families, but also build connections among teachers and help inform policy.
