Talking About Flipping with Rich Halverson

I had a great conversation this past week with University of Wisconsin-Madison professor Richard Halverson and WHYY Radio Times host Marty Moss-Coane about flipping classrooms. It was interesting to hear how Rich and I have independently converged on pretty similar perspectives on the issue: teachers who experiment with flipping their classrooms are taking a step towards using technology to reorganizing how they use classroom time. Such a first step doesn't constitute major change on its own, but we're optimistic that such a step can help teachers move forwards towards classrooms with more engagement and student ownership of learning.
