How to incorporate visual images into English lessons and how to manufacture “teachable moments” are two of the many topics discussed by bloggers participating in the 20th edition of the EFL/ESL/ELL Carnival. In case those acronyms don’t mean anything to you, they all have to do with teaching English as a new language. EFL stands for English as a foreign language, ESL means English as a second language, and ELL is short for English-language learners.
