Last week, President-elect Donald Trump announced that he selected Betsy DeVos, a longtime school choice advocate and Republican mega-donor, to be his nominee for education secretary.
Following the announcement, Education Week‘s government and politics team got busy digging into DeVos’ background (check out their five things to know about her).
