Renee Pryor, who supervises teacher evaluations in Tennessee’s Lincoln County school district, has taken the dread out of the process for teachers. In the Fayetteville, Tenn., district, evaluations —often a frightening experience for educators—provide teachers with individualized support to help them grow. For her inspiring leadership, Pryor was honored in 2016 as a Leader to Learn From, and was a speaker in this year’s Leaders to Learn From live event.

In the above video, originally streamed on Facebook Live, she sits down with Elizabeth Rich, Education Week Commentary editor, to discuss making evaluations more effective and relevant.
