At a time when understanding the U.S. Constitution--its rights, and its limitations on the government--seems more important than ever, many Americans fall well short of even basic knowledge about this foundational document. Fortunately, it is an anchor in many school history curricula.

In observance of Constitution Day on Sept. 17, Education Week offered this brief video guide on FIrst Amendment for students, teachers, and everyone else.
