Brett Favre’s High School Football Team Wins State Championship

Brett Favre has some new jewelry to hang on his mantelpiece.

The retired NFL legend helped lead Oak Grove High School to the Mississippi Class 6A state football championship this past Friday night.

Favre, a three-time regular-season NFL Most Valuable Player and the winning quarterback of Super Bowl XXXI, has been serving as Oak Grove’s offensive coordinator for the past two seasons. His youngest daughter attends school there, according to the Associated Press.

On Friday, Oak Grove took on Tupelo High School for a chance at the school’s first-ever state football championship. Favre was stationed up in the press box,
