Friend-of-the-blog Candace Cortiella over at The Advocacy Institute let me know about a free webinar series that will be hosted on the site over the next 12 weeks.

Six of the institute’s 90-minute, archived webinars will be available free for two weeks each. After the program ends, you’ll have to pay $25 to $50 for each webinar, though there’s currently a half-price sale running if you want to have access to a webinar beyond the two-week free period, or if you’re interested in the library of webinar sessions that aren’t a part of this free sample.

The webinar topics available for the next 12 weeks include everything from creating a more collaborative atmosphere in individualized education program meetings to negotiating for assistive technology in the classroom. If there are any other free programs available that can also help parents and teachers navigate the advocacy process, please let me know in the comments below.
