Okay, that may distort Nicholas Carr's book a bit. You decide, by reading The Shallows: What the Internet Is Doing To Our Brains.

It's an important question, because if we're going to turn around the literacy deficits we see in boys we need to know if Internet-based strategies can be players -- or, if they will only make things worse.
