Engineering Design in the Classroom: Spy Glider

Eighth grade science teacher Julia Ward at Jane Addams Middle School in Seattle, Wash., collaborated with Boeing engineers to pose an engineering design challenge to her students. Students learned about the design process and worked in groups to develop and test gliders.
