It’s tough out there: A 6th grader in Marion, Ohio, held his teacher hostage in her classroom yesterday by threatening her with a pencil and barricading the door with desks and chairs. He was later arrested and charged with abduction—which I suspect isn’t a very good thing to have on your record. No one was physically harmed, though the teacher was apparently “pretty shook up,” according to a police officer.
