Today is Day 2 of our National Teacher Appreciation Week Series: Educators Who Inspire Educators. It is also the official Teacher Appreciation Day! Yesterday Jason Markey honored Frank Holthouse, today we head to the land down under to meet an eLearning Teacher:

Clare Rafferty, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia

Teaches: eLearning

Twitter handle: @craff2008

Website: http://raffsrant.global2.vic.edu.au/

Inpires: Kimberley Hall

Why Kimberley is inspired by Clare: “Clare is a teacher who gets a kick out of pushing the traditional boundaries for what teaching looks like. She has pioneered ways which new technologies impact new pedagogies across the school. Her generous sharing of her skills, ideas and knowledge has ensured that Ringwood has become well known as an innovative school. She personally mentored me and always encouraged me to challenge my role in the class and school, I wouldn’t have become the teacher I am today without her.”

Connect with Clare on Twitter and learn more about her work and students! Come back tomorrow as we learn more about another amazing teacher!
