Just One . . . In Moderate Fashion

During this December, may I wish you happy holidays and the best time with family and friends. There are so many things to celebrate; regardless of the events you celebrate, may you enjoy this month with peace . . . and some quiet. All teachers deserve some quiet time away from the classroom. It’s just the nature of the profession.

As you look forward to the new calendar year, think about setting a goal . . . just one. More than one is too much and gets lost in the bustle of life. As you set this goal, really take stock of one thing you want to accomplish, change, or solve. Don’t make a goal that is too outlandish or one that is too easy. It should be one for which you push yourself in a moderate fashion. Then, when you’ve accomplished your goal, stay on top of it. Don’t let it fall by the wayside. You will grow and take joy in your work.

May all educators have a great break here at the end of December and may January be an energy-filled month, teaching our most precious assets of the future.

With Much Love,
